It is very convenient to tell when a refill is needed, and topping it up takes little effort. My cats felt a little wary of circulating water in the beginning, yet they soon realized how great this fountain is.
This thing is fantastic. My cats love it. The stainless steel construction is wonderful because it is more durable than plastic and will simply dent when plastic would crack. The steel is also better at resisting bacteria than plastic. This fountain comes with an extra carbon filter and an extra pump filter. Be prepared to break it down and wash it every two weeks and to replace the carbon filter every two to three months. With proper maintenance, this item is sure to please most cats for a long time. Well worth the cost.
I have only had this for less than a week, and so far it seems great. Almost no sound, a nice clean flow of water, no splash, and both of my small dogs drink from it comfortably. I will know more when I perform the first cleaning, but so far I am more than satisfied.

My cats absolutely adore this. It was definitely an upgrade compared to the one I got elsewhere years ago, and it is definitely worth the price. It is a decent size. I would recommend this over any of the ones I have seen on social media.

Love this fountain. It runs quietly and is very easy to clean. My cat was uncertain at first, sitting and staring at it. The water pouring off the flower startled him, but he eventually got brave and tried it. Now he loves it. I love that he has a choice between falling water and water sitting in the bowl. He drinks from both equally.

I have had a few fountains before getting this one, and this is the best I have ever had. It remains nearly silent, even when the water is low. My cat did not like the flower, so I am not using it, but that does add another level of fun for cats who like extra splashing. I have had it for a week and a half, and the mat is still fine. It is very thin, though, so you might want something else underneath. It came without a small brush to clean the pump, but all you need is a straw-cleaning brush, and I already have several, so that did not matter. I am very happy with this fountain, and it is easy to keep clean. The layered design means it filters through two levels from the top, so the water supply gets less dust and other debris. I bought it on sale, but it is worth the full price. I have this fountain alone for my single cat, and it looks like refilling every ten to twelve days will be the norm.
This is my favorite automatic water fountain yet. It is ninety-nine percent stainless steel for real. Super fast shipping, and I had a cat drinking from it ten minutes after I opened the box. Unfortunately, I had to return it. It was very easy to assemble. However, my cat would not go near it. It was quiet, with no noise, but she just was not interested.
I did not receive everything I ordered, and the store cannot provide a receipt that lists each item I purchased. The associate was rude and hateful to me, and I could not understand him. I finally hung up the phone and gave up.
I already had a fountain but got this one because I could get new filters later. My two cats love it, and it looks great. It is a win-win. Although I still do not know how to change the water flow mode. It says gushing or continuous, but no matter what, so far so good.
